Pros

All the perks you'd expect from a tech startup in the Bay Area. Mostly the free food.

Cons

The leadership team is inexperienced, unqualified, and immature. Leadership provides poor product direction and unrealistic product roadmaps and timelines. At many levels within the organization, micromanagement is prevalent. Diversity in hiring and retention are prominent goals but not genuinely achieved. The same attitude applies to work/life balance. Cowardly, obsequious attitudes and actions prevail over choosing the path needed to solve the company's deep-seated issues. Compared with other tech startups, the benefits package is lacking.

Pros

Friendly and hardworking people. Very inclusive and encouraging team.

Cons

Started during Quarantine, so haven't had much of an opportunity to experience in-person workplace culture.

Pros

+ Super exciting product to work on + Major technical challenges + Open leadership and high transparency of vision + Incredibly smart and motivated team + WFH-positive culture allows a distributed team + High diversity for a tech company, has active DE&I group actively pushing hiring and education + Passionate customers and unique exciting app + Significantly above average willingness to engage with customers, and to have *all* employees engaging with customers. Very user-centric company. + Brilliant visionary founders that are also humble and excited to collaborate + I have worked to refer 4 former coworkers so far, if that tells you anything.

Cons

–It's a startup, so things change frequently. Not the job for you if you want super clear long-term goals and consistency. – Sometimes we can go so fast that we make mistakes that could have been prevented – We're still figuring out structural stuff like engineering ladders, how often to do reviews, consistent org, etc. We continue to improve on it but people who need this sort of thing locked in place might be uncomfortable.
