What I like most about my job is the fact I can be trusted to get the job/task done with little supervision. I am able to set the curriculum for all my trainees. I like to make my training as hands-on as possible. I like "infotainment" style and subscribe to the FISH book philosophy to make work fun. I like the responsibility to train brand new sales reps from all industries in week or less to start earning commissions immediately. My last employer had a boring and 4 week long training program that was very rigid and unable to modify. I love the challenge to complete new tasks/projects. I was tapped to redo all our product technical specs, featured and benefits. I very proud of the Sales Reference books I created from scratch, since they are now used in the field with prospective clients. Recently, I have been task to write the user manual for our CRM system, to make it easier to learn. Bring it on! I work an average of 60-65 hours a week, every week, not because I have to, but because I am constantly developing training material, handouts, job aids. I am dedicated to better my trainees and help them to perfect their skill-set in any way I can.
