      Pros

      UMA has one of the best platforms for online students to thrive. The healthcare and 401K benefits are good. The standard for education is top notch.

      Cons

      Even if you are a salaried employee, you have to use 6 days of your PTO each year in December for UMA holiday break which means you can't use all of your PTO towards your choice of days off. Although this is a remote position you are unable to leave the city or your home to work. The pay is low for instructors so most have to have a part-time or another full-time to make ends meet. No work life balance. Micromanaging is present as well.
