Lots of momentum in the company, especially on my account which is the agency's biggest. Lots of young, energetic and friendly people.

We're small and up and coming, meaning we sometimes don't throw our weight around as much as we could...especially with inter-agency relationships. Essentially, I think we have the opportunity to stand up for ourselves a bit more as we have the performance to back it up as an agency! Needs more direction from senior levels within account team, especially. Upper management seems to deal with big conversations and it doesn't trickle down, occasionally leaving us without strong leadership. Benefits aren't amazing, but normal for a small agency. They are improving.

I met some nice people and the office space was cool

The way in which this company functions is inadequate and completely unsustainable. They treat their employees as disposable. Multiple people told me I shouldn’t bother asking for a pay rise because they’d been told to just quit if they weren’t happy with the pay despite being extremely low for the clients that the companies work with and the money that they bring in. The whole thing felt absurd. And if you think you’ll get the opportunity to progress and increase your salary that way, think again! You’ll only see progression if you’re a favourite. This company uses free bagels and booze as band aids for its deep rooted issues. As someone else said, only work here if you’re absolutely desperate and can face being overworked and undervalued.
