Pros
Being at Delta (not dgs) is great. Love the work and perks.
Cons
I love working for Delta... but what bad luck having to go through Delta's contracting house, Delta Global Staffing (DGS) for employment. These guys are the most incompetent people I have ever worked with. They have NO idea how a FEDERAL Per Diem works... do not listen to a word they say. You WILL be audited by the IRS. Even though you come in on a per diem, they still make you fill out WEEKLY expense reports. Also, to even qualify you have to have a Temporary residence within 50 miles AND a permanent address more than 50 miles away. This is COMPLETELY backwards of how the rest of the industry handles per diem. A permanent address more than 50mi away is all that is ACTUALLY required. The staff are friendly, but cannot answer any questions with intelligence. If you ask for HR's contact they will tell you that "its against their policy to give out that information" WHAT?? Also, if you have any plans on working through them, make sure to check your calendar as they have a habit of scheduling you to come in on company holidays... enjoy your stay in the parking lot NOT getting the documentation done that you drove 6 hours to complete.
