Pros

I worked at this company as an analyst and collaborated frequently with other analysts and the C-Suite. I got to learn how to balance independent work with teamwork which was important for my development. Because it’s a small company I got to dive in deep from the beginning.

Cons

The truth is that it’s a terrible place to work. The company is run by C-levels who are also owners of the company. They have no interest in their employees and pretty much treat them like disposable workers. Employees sometimes go unpaid for 2-3 months. The company just pretends like nothing's happening and that they forgot to pay. Employees get no benefits and you're expected to work late. Very high employee turnover. It’s just an unprofessional environment where the C-levels are often trashing the VPs and investors behind their backs. It's small company with just a few part-time employees and a couple of clients. The C-level often lie and misrepresent the company to everyone they speak with (employees, clients, investors) telling them that they have 20+ employees and clients. They are always trying to hide something and so communication is terrible. I was personally asked to lie to clients. After getting yelled at while working late I decided to quit.
