Cons
I work in the Unisys Fed group. Started with three employees supporting us in an office nearby. Ended with one employee supporting us and working from home (no more office). I've worked here for 10 years. Not one time in those ten years have we met for lunch, had a Christmas party, had any sort of greet and meet. In fact I haven't seen my manager face to face in over five years since she was forced to work from home. We communicate primarily through email. Annual Reviews do sometimes occur but are few and far between, raises even less so. I've gotten maybe 2% increases total in the last ten years. Years ago I had a problem with one of my clients, she was behaving extremely rude and unprofessional towards myself and my work partner (who worked for another contracting company). Unisys management's attitude towards this was "Anything to make the client happy". Didn't care about how I felt or give me any sort of support. This was the exact opposite of my work partner who got all kinds of support and sympathy from his contracting company. They obviously care about him as a person. Not so Unisys, they only care that I keep earning so they can collect their cut.
