Pros

Working to influence increased levels of foundational literacy can change health and wellbeing outcomes and the work done is of importance and high value. The support for staff wellness is felt throughout the organization.

Cons

Funding challenges that are hitting all not for profits and are creating uncertainty and UFL is not without impact. Improvements can be made on structure as the growth happened quickly and some inefficiencies that can be improved. Salaries continue to be a challenge and will be important to reflect on often.
