The organisation is working to assist vulnerable children and individuals.

Cons

Staff are promoted from operational roles without adequate training and support. The culture is highly reactive. Management is a hub and spoke approach with little planning. There is a high sense of immediacy that does not drive good planning and implementation. Senior staff are resistant to new initiatives and ways of thinking and leading owing to their fixation on urgency. Staff tend to work independently and not in structured collaboration. New ideas are not well received.
