Pros

Interview process is similar to most silicon valley/tech companies, with all common stages where they evaluate your technical skills and behavioral aptitude. The process is well documented inside Unity Careers site and the good thing is that they stick to it. Very well organized at every stage with clear communication of what to expect at each interview round, so no surprises. HR partners are there to assist you all the way in case of doubts with very prompt answers. Interviewers are not improvised and know how to extract the needed information from you without making the interview process more stressful than necessary. This makes a much, much smoother experience than other tech companies. We all know how stressful the interviewing process can be, not need to make it more stressful than what it should be with improvised, inexperienced interviewers or surprise tests.

Cons

No cons, I believe that this is how it should be.

Pros

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Cons

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
