Pros

Opportunity to work on a game engine in the gaming industry. Probably less competition internally than some companies, which can be good to get some experience in areas you want to grow.

Cons

Like a lot of companies, as we've scaled out our company, senior leadership has not been able to retain strong values but rather continually breaks trust with employees and seems very disconnected from caring about folks. Lots of fluffy word that seem insincere. Non-competitive salaries They just cut our wellness benefit, two days after a layoff and after we started the year and made financial commitments assuming we'd have it. Sending big impact news via emails instead of having a meeting with the employees. Executives encouraging everyone to RTO, but they are not actually showing up to the office

Pros

-Flexible WFH environment -Decent work life balance and good benefits for the US based employees

Cons

-CEO and CFO insist on being based in New York, when the Company is based in SF. Earnings calls are at 5:30am because screw you West Coast. -CFO will stop at nothing until all the G&A, Accounting, Tax, and, Finance team members are located in Bangalore in an effort to cut costs. Offshoring is massive here and will only continue to expand. -Constant anxiety about layoffs. Sometimes they announce mass layoffs, but more often do it in smaller waves so as to not rattle the cage. -Top heavy org structure. There's probably as many or more SVP, VPs, Sr. Dir level folks as there are individual contributors/leads.
