Pros

Decent hours for a small bank.

Cons

No work-life balance if you're a manager. If you work in Philadelphia (South Region), then you'll be working with a clueless Area Leader that lies about everything and has no regard for anyone but himself. A lot of gaslighting and abuse comes from the President of Consumer Services. The pay for a manager is laughable and the incentive plan is an even bigger joke. There's also an extreme amount of favoritism. Financial centers always claim to be understaffed, when in reality it's not true. When coverage is needed for an actual financial center that is understaffed, the financial center managers who have more than enough staff to give never want to assist. Saturday hours for certain financial centers are pointless, but if you say something to upper management they don't care because they aren't the ones working. Area leader for the South Region is hypocritical due to him holding managers to standards that he himself never did before he was given the area leadership role. There's a bunch of pointless meetings that can easily be emails, but since the Area Leader for the South Region loves to hear himself talk, he insists on holding these meetings. The CEO also sends a weekly email each Friday telling employees of the company what he's doing and how he's going away with his family. In those emails are pictures of him with his family at what are high priced venues and pictures of the family in front of their nice and lavish home. I'm not one to be jealous, but I believe that can be extremely demoralizing to those employees who can't afford that kind of lifestyle even though they work harder than most of the upper management. Plus, it's just bad taste to be reminded on a weekly basis how easy the CEO has it and how hard and underprivileged most employees have it. The President of Consumer Services also plans an annual gathering at Hershey Park/Dorney Park that is VOLUNTARY, for financial center employees, and if you don't attend then she gets very angry and begins to act very childish.
