Pros

Great teams and people, interesting work, company is very successful

Cons

Pushing remote workers to hybridise and commute over 3 hours in some cases. Preventing remote workers from being able to people manage. Adding 90% salaries with 10% being variable (not a bonus). Not making decisions collaboratively with teams (which occurred previously) with large sweeping changes often occurring without prior notice. Company was excellent until 2 years ago when ‘corporatising’ and locking down processes and policies has left a stale and uncaring business perspective. Slowly focusing more on an American style company culture and structure.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and more importantly, thank you for your commitment and contributions over the past five years. That kind of tenure speaks to your deep involvement in the company’s journey, and we do not take that for granted. We are truly sorry to hear that recent changes have affected your experience so significantly. At Usercentrics, we are constantly striving to grow as a company while preserving the culture and values that helped us succeed in the first place. It is clear from your feedback that some of that balance has not felt right to you, and we take that seriously. We want to clarify one important point: colleagues who were hired on fully remote contracts are not being asked to return to the office. If this has not aligned with your personal situation, or if there has been a misunderstanding, we would really appreciate the opportunity to speak further – please feel free to reach out directly to hr@usercentrics.com. Our hybrid working approach is a part of a broader effort to encourage and nurture in-person collaboration, strengthen team bonds, and make the most of the creative and engaging initiatives in which the company invests significantly. This is also grounded on findings of how human interaction (including at the workplace) is so necessary for mental health and wellbeing. Thank you once again for sharing your feedback! We truly value your experience and dedication to Usercentrics.

Thank you for this feedback. It's clear you're invested in making this a great place to work, and that comes through in how thoughtfully you've shared both what's working and what isn't. It's great to hear that the teamwork, the diversity of our workforce, and the hybrid model are landing well. Those reflect real commitments we've made and continue to build on. On the areas you've flagged: Navigating different regulatory frameworks across the EU and Americas makes this more complex than we'd like, but complexity isn't an excuse for standing still, and so we hear you and will take your feedback into consideration for possible future improvements. We'd welcome any further thoughts you're willing to share - feel free to reach out directly to our HR team at hr@usercentrics.com.

Pros

- Trainings + tools for becoming AI native: They recently rolled out Claude for the entire company. A huge investment, which is underscored by trainings, supportive Slack channels, talks, and more. I really appreciate that they're investing in their employees (and the org) becoming AI native. - Great values they actually mean: I have worked at many tech companies that like to pretend they have great values but only do so for the optics. In contrast, this place walks the walk. So much DEI is getting cut from companies. Usercentrics continues to invest. - Smart colleagues + great growth trajectory: Not much more to say here other than that.

Cons

Sometimes I get too many meetings put on my calendar
