Pros

If you are looking for a stable job with decent benefits (medical/pension/etc.), then UTA is a great place. UTA also has a pretty generous training and educational program through their LMS that all employees can utilize.

Cons

As a government entity (not a State agency), pay for most jobs will be at or less than what you could find in the private sector.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are glad to hear you appreciate the stability and benefits at UTA, as well as our educational opportunities. We believe in providing education, training, and leadership development opportunities to our employees. As a current employee, we would love it if you would reach out to our WINS program to discuss the suggestions you have for giving frontline employees an outlet to discuss their ideas with management. For more information regarding the WINS program, visit www.rideuta.com/Rider-Info/Digital-Newsroom/UTA-Wins If you have any specific questions regarding the WINS program, please reach out to your supervisor.

Pros

Good benefits and lots of advancement opportunities. The people are great to work with as well. I enjoy the goals and objectives of the company to provide public transit.

Cons

The same as most jobs, but nothing worth mentioning specifically.

Pros

Management is mostly fair. Standard bus driving job. Good training with free CDL class B. Paid during training.

Cons

Salt Lake COL is expensive. Pay does not match cost of living.
