Pros
The pay is unbeatable for the area and even compares or beats some engineering roles. $5/hr flat into 401k (no match) is unreal. When this is factored into already high pay its really hard to find something higher.
Cons
A bunch of people were laid off for budget. Everything is seniority based and even if an employee is bad they will not fire. Not much for advancement. Parts were at a standstill. Not sure if money stopped from the gov shutdown though.
