      Pros

      Flexible work environment Nice offices Casual

      Cons

      Things got weird, really fast. We spent a ton of time preparing to restructure the company so that we could do an IPO and then it was aborted at the last minute. Wasted months on this. This is pretty typical. Strategy seems to change day to day. You could call that agile, but it feels like chaos. Someone else described the current culture as "Game of Thrones". They aren't wrong. With the aborted IPO, all of the options for the early employees are kind of useless. VGW is one drinks night away from a slew of sexual harassment lawsuits.

      Waiting for a permanent office space.

      1 Generous and brilliant founder 2 Emphasis on tech and innovation for growth 3 Industry behemoth 4 Customer Operations abreast with ambiguous legal regulations

      Cons

      1 Inefficient internal support teams overstaffed with underqualified yet overpaid yet underperforming personnel 2 "People and Culture" a gross misnomer for the HR team. If not egregiously promulgating disregard for internal policies whenever personally convenient, incumbents of power, regardless of scope, habitually arbitrarily administer policies for personal gain 3 Persistent labor malpractices in some location
