Pros
Got to shoot photography full time, flexible scheduling (kind of), working solo
Cons
They expect you to work as a full time employee but do not offer the benefits of being one, when I worked there the mileage compensation was 33 cents per mile which equated to like $10-15 an hour driving your own car which is horrible, they do not pay you to do a lot of tasks like coding every picture, transferring files, scheduling with realtors (which is a serious hassle) and recording mileage all while being paid on average $25-35 per home photographed, when you do the math your making almost minimum wage, for the hours put in it was hard to justify the pay using all of our own equipment and car, they expect you to be an employee when you are only contracted and do not offer anything to offset the difference such as health benefits or higher pay (this was in 2013 and I am not aware if the pay has increased or not)
