Pros

Able to talk with other departments and follow through with questions to answers Rewarded/promotions for hard/outstanding work that gets acknowledged Ideas or change in workflow can get implemented if you bring a strong case Openwork environment to be able to talk and work with others more efficiently Flexible with working in and out of the office Lunch on Mondays, breakfast on Wednesday We have a nap room We have a beer on tap You get a crazy amount of sick time and vacation time from the start

Cons

When you start working here you gain the Vigor 15, you literally gain 15 pounds. Traffic is crazy since the construction and next to the UTC mall Jets will fly over the building making you have to pause a bit to continue your conversation. Openwork enviorment that causes inturuption from your work

Pros

Vigor Systems operates a high profile TV media distribution operation via satellite and Amazon cloud services. The company uses the latest tools to drive development and improve productivity. The office atmosphere is relaxed but you have to respond rapidly to challenges as the company's clients are quite demanding. Many in the company work across multiple projects so there is not much chance of settling in a rut. The company is beginning to carve out its own business niche. So it is rewarding when projects reach milestones that are part of the future. You can't beat the San Diego weather or beach and the city has a laid back style. Compared to LA, San Diego is a more comfortable environment.

Cons

Things are fast moving and you need to be at the top of your game to prevent things falling through the cracks. There are no organizational safety nets to molly coddle you.
