Pros

None I can say - good reviews must be fake

Cons

They will call you 5 times in 10 minutes, they all have thick accents, and all the positive reviews must be fake

We train our staff to maintain high levels of professionalism and phone etiquette, so it is disappointing and surprising to hear that you were contacted too many times within a short time span. We have made recent changes to increase focus on improving consultant relationships and candidate outreach. Our staff would appreciate it if you reached out to us so we can address this or any other concerns you would have. You can reach us at either hr@viva-it.com or 847-368-0860. Thank you.

Pros

I wish I could have rated them a 3.5 - because this company does have some very good qualities. Wonderful placement with a company that is very concerned with employee engagement and work-life balance. It's the perfect placement for me. The agency checks in with me monthly to see how things are going.

Cons

The pay is AWFUL. I am making about 1/3 of what I am worth. Raises, when possible, are very low (2-3%). They offer high-cost, high-deductible health plans that they contribute nothing to. Although they do check in with me monthly, my contact person changes several times a year. It's hard to know who to call when I do have a need. And often, my contact person's English is so bad that I have to ask them to email me instead of talk to me so I can figure out what they're saying. This company WILL NOT ADVOCATE for you when the client requests travel/overtime/work outside of scope. This equates to not getting paid for time worked, and often having to pay out of pocket for resources when asked to travel. (Yes, I am seeking legal advice.) As much as I am enjoying the assignment I'm working on, I'm tired of being taken advantage of.
