Be warned, every bad review here is unfortunately true. Joining vizio right out of college I was estatic to be a part of the company. I thought so highly of vizio and I was proud to be here. But, just like the wizard of oz, once I pulled back the curtain (or rather my entire team was reshuffled/ fired/ left) the truth was revealed. The CEO and COO run the entire company like one big dictatorship. Say something they don't like, you can pack your bags because your job is toast. Be prepared to work on the CEOs pet projects which can change entire requirements on a whim even after the majority of the work is already agreed to and complete. Middle managment is basically left in the dark being told one by VPs and exces then them doing the exact opposite. Teams that need specialized employees are given contractors with little to no relevant experience, and these contractors are considered "senior" engineers to look good. Many team leads are managers, PM's, and individal contributors. There is little to no formal structure to how projects are prioritized, planned, and executed. RSU's cut, bonuses cut, and you get the pleasure of going into the office 5 times a week. Do you really need more red flags than that
