Pros
The location was fine, I guess. Coffee machine worked most of the time.
Cons
The problem was never about competence or performance - it was about who you knew and whether you were in the right friend group. I watched people get promoted and opportunities handed to them while others, which honestly includes me, just got passed over. Nobody said it outright, but everyone knew who the favorites were, and it made everything else feel pointless. Projects and good assignments went to the same people every time regardless of ability, and if you weren't part of that inner circle, well, you weren't getting anywhere. Management knew it was happening too but didn't care enough to actually stop it.
