Pros

I feel that most of the time the main focus is giving our service users the best care and support, encouraging independence when possible. Long term staff have great positive relationships with the students full of trust and mutual respect. Staff ensure service users are included and respected always. There is plenty of on campus activities to enjoy and the students are often out in the community doing activities they enjoy.

Cons

High staff turnover over (this is a tough job at times and is not for everyone) which can lead to the service users not being given the consistent support from staff who know them well. Sometimes when students are put in groups/classes or moved from groups/ classes it seems to be more about what works best for Linn Moor rather than the service users which can cause issues. That is my personal opinion and by no means is what definitely happens.

They have Weekly pay and a lot of contracts

They have Low pay contracts very easy

Good place to work if your focus is to help frustrated customers and build your experience doing so, a compliment to your resume for a greater position

Cons

They don’t pay much and don’t offer raises.
