Pros
Interesting projects to work on. Mostly good people to work with on the software teams in terms of social interaction and getting along with. International company with well known brand of products that can give you the feeling that you had a part of implementing a product on the shelf in place like Walmart and Costco.
Cons
Project management needs clear and regular communication of tasks and goals. Perfomance feedback (positive or negative) or appreciation from team lead or upper management is needed. Software management should be much more visible. Main technology is arguably dead or dying (cordless phones in the home) compared to cell phones.
