Pros

organised with daily deliveries, driver work comes through night before so drivers can plan work night before which is good

Cons

i work for this company but not for long they are very misleading they say wen you drop a car off you pick another up from either same garage or one just nearby, this aint the case each day it costs me between £15 and £40 on train/buses etc trying get about, once i had to make my own way from Manchester to wrexham then another day Manchetser to Derby costing £37.90 on train, thast nearly your daily wage gone They say they will help with cost... They do not... they tell you hitch hike instead

Pros

Working with a variety of cars etc

Cons

what isnt told to new drivers is that it takes on average about £30 per day expenses of which the company will only pay back to the driver 50% the other 50% will have to be claimed back through HMRC by using the drivers accountant, that said that will only be able to be paid back to the driver at the end of every April (New Financial Year ) so lets assume this is your first month and you earn £1500 per month, deduct £75 For Trade plates and insurance, the £600 for the months travel expenses, this leaves the driver with £825 then add the 50% travel expenses this gives £1125, and then PAYE Tax at 20% you will make £900 this is what you will pick up??? and if you then work out the hours spent on the road and transferring from job to job which is on average 14 hours a day 20 working days is 280 hours, divide £900 by 280 hours gives you an hourly rate after tax of £3.21p....... yep £3.21p astounding isnt it in this day and age... factor in all the negatives like cant get to a job you might have to hitch hike and working constantly tired......its very very poor....there is a law against working all those hours and its called the working time agreement....regardless of if your travelling from job to job on public transport in this doesnt constitute down time
