Pros
1. Like all other credit unions, they often promote from within 2. From what I’ve seen, their pay is fair and their benefits are great
Cons
1. This company’s organization is… hectic. Procedures and policies are inconsistent and vague. Obtaining information about how a process works is difficult. Many of leadership’s decisions are inconsistent with the values and goals they claim- while usually this would seem intentional and malicious- I believe this is more likely borne of ignorance. In many ways, it seems like nobody knows how to do all of their job. 2.This organization is about people liking you. If you ask for help, or attempt to innovate a process- you will earn the ire of many and it will have a negative effect on many aspects of your job. If you want a job where just being good at you work, and finding new ways to improve your work are rewarded, this organization isn’t for you. 3. This organization’s policies are antiquated. Despite promises to new employees, there are not work from home opportunities because, despite large amounts of data indicating otherwise, they still believe people can’t do a good job without someone watching over their shoulder. Things like dress code policies also need revisiting, with things like tattoos needing to be covered and piercings not allowed. Although not explicitly stated, this excludes much of the millennial and gen z workforce.
