      This unionized newsroom offers excellent pay, good benefits and fair hours. The Sun and Province are still regarded as "the newspaper of record" by other media outlets in the city and there is a diverse array of opportunities within the newsroom.

      Cons

      Increasing influence from advertisers. Inconsistent editorial standards. Some old-fashioned thinkers in the room.
