Pros

It pays well and has good benefits, but I think that's a necessity because most people would leave earlier if it didn't.

Cons

It's so agile, it's chaotic. The amount of people who have left the company in the last year or so is concerning. The changes are swift and frequent. There are so many departments across the globe that it's unclear who does what and it seems many decisions are based on ego and toxic behaviours are tolerated or ignored by HR and executives. The core values aren't much more than words, based on senior leadership behaviours. Respect is non-existent from many at that level and nothing is done about it. In fact, there are frequent promotions and job titles don't appear to be given based on merit. Very top heavy hierarchy with no hope given for support at ground level. There is no work life balance without taking the risk of defending it with the knowledge that it could be used against you.

Pros

Overall, Vantage is a really good place to work, especially if you want to be part of a company that’s growing quickly and doing meaningful work in the data center space. The projects are interesting and impactful, and there’s a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. The people are probably the best part. Most teams are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely want to help each other succeed. Compensation and benefits are solid, and the company is in a strong position within the industry.

Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly, things can feel a bit hectic at times. Priorities can shift, and it can take some effort to keep everything aligned. Depending on the team and workload, work-life balance can fluctuate during busier periods. There can also be some inconsistency in how processes or expectations are handled across different teams, which can be frustrating at times.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear that the work feels meaningful and that you’re finding opportunities to learn and grow. It’s encouraging to hear your comments about the people; supportive and collaborative teams are a big part of what we want the employee experience to feel like. As Vantage continues to grow, we know that shifting priorities, team-to-team inconsistency, and busy periods can create friction. We’re focused on clarifying expectations, and strengthening processes so growth feels consistent across teams. Thank you again for taking the time to share. Feedback like this helps us understand what is working well and where we need to keep improving as we grow.

We’re glad the flexibility of remote work and the variety of the day-to-day experience have stood out. At the same time, we hear your concerns. We’re taking this feedback seriously and working with Vantage’s People, technology, and senior teams to improve how decisions are communicated, how system changes are rolled out, and how employees are supported through change. Your input will help us focus on the support employees need to scale effectively with the business.
