Pros

The pandemic is for many companies a true test of if they have their employees best interests at heart, here are some of the things I noticed Varonis has done. There was a rapid and effective transition for all employees to work remotely during the pandemic. They put a lot of thought and effort to help protect employees financially and their health during this pandemic. They are also making events and content to try to bring us together as a community even though we are all isolated. One example is they are asking employees if they want to volunteer anytime to teach a class on a hobby they are interested in like fitness, dog training, video editing and have it be available for the company. I'm doing a class myself and I'm pretty excited to teach it! It's not an easy time for any company in these times and I'm glad I feel Varonis has my back and is looking out for my wellbeing. Overall in my experience, if you work hard and produce results you will be rewarded and recognized.

Cons

I would love it if we could have more PTO as a company for employees. The fast pace and if you aren't built for that you aren't going to have a good time. As an employee you need to be coachable to progress and be successful, stagnation in learning and development will lead to struggles.

Pros

Good money and great promotion trajectory

Cons

5 days in office unless at 100 percent quota then get 1 remote day, changing quota/commission requirements alittle too often

Pros

Benefits are great, random gifts throughout the year, top notch team support

Cons

Company is so compartmentalized no one team has any idea of what is going on with another, which is specifically frustrating when it comes to pay/commission. They keep purchasing other companies without properly integrating into the existing product and have to basically re-invent how to use the full potential of said product to interact with what they already have, leaving a lot to be desired. Hiring new positions with specific goals in mind, but have the same title so are treated the same when it comes to OTE creating a substantial pay cut. Especially when they are brought in to make certain parts of the team and product better.
