The company claims that they're in to education and training yet expect you to be the resident expert, and don't train you in ways other than how to utilize google to find answers and to solve problems. The new "Varsity way" has lost a significant amount of employees and clients; clearly it's not working. You never know if the axe is coming for you, and the culture is one of fear and a lack of security. Having an independent mind and expertise while expected, is actually not valued, and being a sheep is not enough either. The whole mentality of the management team is not of promoting and developing an employee while at Varsity but being a point in time of which they can be great for ANOTHER company. Which leads to seeing more employee turnover than the amount of employees actually AT the company. Camaraderie at Varsity is discouraged, yet a large majority of the former employees have a network of the "displaced" and have made friends post-trauma.; akin to surviving battle together.
