Pros

The benefits such as health insurance, HSA, 401k etc are strong, but that is just as well because of the cons.

Cons

First and foremost, the company does not take ownership of problems that are beyond your control but nevertheless impact your ability to meet sales goals. That does not stop them being asinine and trivial when it comes to holding you accountable for the numbers and they are not interested in any mitigating circumstances that are down to them. A common theme in other reviews here and elsewhere is toxic management and, at best, inconsistent dialers for the sales reps. Your numbers will be up and down like a yo-yo from week to week or month to month and it will be down to you. Nothing to do with others in your same team receiving twice as many or more calls as you, while managers make excuses, deny the problems, all while still demanding more from you. Promotion criteria for the better paying positions is not realistic and sometimes changes when people are on the cusp of fulfilling that criteria. Management wise, there are one or two exceptions but not substantial enough to make a difference. Ultimately, it feels like they only ask for your opinion to gauge how likely you are to put up with their performative nonsense and how likely you are to quit. Strong sales reps can make a ton more money elsewhere with less obstructions and educators whose heart is in the right place will be disappointed by the work culture once they are in the company proper after training. Finally, the salary is not brilliant considering the work environment. I would have gladly taken a 10% salary cut for 50% less nonsense.

Pros

The teaching platform is excellent and user-friendly. The virtual classroom includes useful features such as an interactive whiteboard, which makes online teaching effective and engaging. Experienced instructors also have considerable freedom to design their own lessons and adapt materials to students' needs, allowing for high-quality instruction. Payment is processed twice a week, and instructors can easily track their earnings through the platform, which provides transparency and convenience.

Cons

Student cancellations can be challenging, especially when they occur only minutes before class. Some sessions are repeatedly rescheduled and later canceled again, making it difficult to predict income. Policies and procedures may change frequently, requiring instructors to adapt regularly to new guidelines. Work availability can fluctuate significantly. Instructors may have many students during one period and very few later on, particularly when students complete exams or finish their school year. Overall, this can be a good opportunity for supplemental income and flexible teaching experience, but it may not be ideal as a sole or highly predictable source of income.
