Pros

Worked with some really nice, hardworking people

Cons

This place is choked with toxicity where playing favorites isn't an occasional issue; it's the company policy. Things got way worse after they got rid of our whole departments including HR, you suddenly realize there's no one to back you up or listen to any issue, business-related or not, which makes you scared to even open your mouth. The bosses really play games, doing that classic "good cop/bad cop" routine to keep everyone off-balance. On top of all that internal drama, their actual products aren't new or exciting; bigger, smarter brands already nailed that market years ago. Honestly, between the bad culture and the weak strategy, this company feels like it's just spinning its wheels and heading downhill.

Pros

A few passionate, talented individuals trying their best in impossible conditions.

Cons

VeeFriends is the textbook definition of a mismanaged startup. Leadership is erratic, decisions are made on whims, and there is a dangerous lack of professional oversight. The person calling the shots is woefully inexperienced and it shows through constant pivots, unrealistic goals, and absolutely no strategic direction. They eliminated HR entirely and handed those responsibilities to the President and EVP, neither of whom are remotely qualified to manage people operations. It is a blatant conflict of interest that leaves employees with nowhere to turn when problems arise. The live commerce team is allowed to run unchecked and treat others with open disrespect, creating a hostile work environment. Leadership enables toxic behavior, and anyone who speaks up is pushed out or ignored. There is no respect for employee time, no career development, and no accountability from those at the top. Burnout is rampant, morale is nonexistent, and the writing is on the wall. This company is not going to last.
