Pros
Generous benefits package, good office, comptenet employees in R&D and marketing, you;re lucky if you get in a good team with a great manager.
Cons
... but you might as well get in a very poor team, with passive-agressive members. Like the team where i worked. HR was useless. Integration is absent, very high turnover, within a couple of months all the top management was fired at a one day notice, just out of the blue, from the local management to the company president. People are not connected, no chatting, no lunches together (not in my former team), the multiple events with give-aways and t-shirts looked a bit childish. Values are those of a sales company, not a SW developing one, and they were not born inside the company, but written by an agency. My attempts to find out why this or that hadn't worked in the past were dismissed. There's no leadership, not in marketing, all managers are looked at with rolling eyes, and words like "It's this or that manager's heritage" (in a bad sense), or "What do they know..." Looked like they took all the best practices and solutions, mixed them together, but there was no glue to make a good culture and shared values.
