Pros
The CEO cares about the people and the culture of who we want to be. I don't know too many companies where the CEO has a meet and greet with every new employee. Leadership really listens and responds to every employee idea and concern submitted in the quarterly employee survey. Dealerships like our software, but love our support teams. Our support teams call dealerships back on the same day... not a week later like with the DMS companies. Automotive dealership demand a high level of attention, and it is highly unusual in automotive that you hear so often from dealerships, "Dealerlogix support is amazing!", or "I love my CSM for Text2Drive!"... I have never been with a company that has so many dealership-ambassadors that praise Support.
Cons
The company is growing for the right reasons. More recent OEM certifications means more opportunities. Unfortunately, scaling means change to the processes that some of the companies have had for many years when they were small start-ups. Unfortunately, growing means the bar gets raised for everyone, and the reality is that not everyone is open to change or not able to perform at the higher new normal. For those employees not willing to change or grow, that means turnover for those impacted. In many early stages of a start-up, founders rely on neighbors, relatives, friends to help the cause of building a company. However, when those founders exit (and profit handsomely), some of those neighbors, relatives, friends, either grow with everyone or leave. Many of the reviews I read seem like the latter. Hopefully, their next chapter will be even better for them.
