A merger like this was probably always going to have some bumps, but the business organization from the jump was very poorly-constructed. Not only were employees belittled during meetings and training sessions, but in my opinion there were quite a few people who were put in positions to outright fail through no fault of their own. This bred a culture of fear and toxicity, which has ultimately led to the company having multiple rounds of significant layoffs in under a year.
