Pros
1) Even devs don't job - hop from Ventrata, so something must be right.
2) I don't know how to convey my experience into words without sounding unauthentic like a bad marketing slogan. So let's just say that my biggest fear was always joining a company, where you don't have a voice and become an anonymous cog in a corporate machine.
Well, Ventrata is the exact opposite. People are open, friendly, ready to help AND listen to you. The company retreats are extraordinary and you get to know everyone really well. It has amazing benefits with a lot of flexibility (like the virtual Juno card, which I've used for travels, books, fitness - you name it), including flexible working hours, unlimited vacations, full-remote work etc.
3) The teams always try to find the best solution for any problem you tackle (even if it takes longer at times, because in the end we don't have enough time for half-solutions, right?), constantly working on improvements.
4) Not only have you a voice, you also have power and responsibilities that come with that (which I prefer), so no anonymous cog.
5) Even after becoming an established name, Ventrata's still full of startup culture, like having a healthy amount of not-taking-yourself-too-seriously. This really allows for more open feedback and again - improvements, without being too stressed.
(6) I am a little embarrassed to admit that I actually look forward to my working 99% percent of the time).
Cons
People who don't really enjoy having a voice and rather just stay in lines which are well defined all the way - might not enjoy some of the bumps that come with a young, growing company. But even then, work-life balance (e.g. parents leaving earlier to pick their kids up from kindergartens or schools) seems to be a priority in this company.
