Pros
They have a variety of freight and mostly runs within the Midwest, Texas, and Southeast. Use to be wonderful and the former Venture employees and office staff are wonderful. Recently merged with Trans-Corr and isn't the same. They do have opportunities for good dedicated runs. My home-time has been terrific. The fleet managers that I have worked with are tremendous.
Cons
Merged with Trans-Corr and hasn't been the same since. A lack of respect to drivers from former TransCorr employees. No such thing as planning anymore. Corporate decisions being made such as cut in layover/detention pay. Auto enroll in 401k without any control of money. Lack of communication. Drivers are left to feel completely unappreciated. Drivers are treated by management like they are doing us a favor. Moral in the office staff is way down.
