Pros

- It's possible to negotiate a bit higher than average salary by Canadian standards

Cons

- When you negotiate the salary before taking a job offer, make sure you've got all that you could. Then next raise is never going to happen. - Micromanagement and very annoying CTO. He's BE dev and he does PR reviews for FE changes without even remote understanding of what's going on. So he'll just pick on you variable names. - Completely deranged CEO. Everyone hates him and tries to avoid when he's in the office. He can fire you when he just feels like it without any explanation and 1 day notice. - Very strict working on-site policy. You're not allowed to work from home even when you're sick and contagious. "Just use your 3 sick days per year or temporary disability insurance!". As a result, in winter everyone in the office gets sick in waves, multiple times per month. - Unrealistic expectations and incompetent planning. The biggest features are planned without even asking devs opinion. Deadlines are set even before they figure out the requirements. Very often requirements are changing during the development process. But it's never management's fault, it's always you working not good enough and overtiming not long enough. - They treat you like a kid, in a very condescending way and they are always looking for someone to blame when something goes south - They never allow even slight tech debt management, it's always new functionality that you have to add. - They is no career path whatsoever. People work here for years without promotions, raises or at least learning something useful, that will help them to find another job. It's a career graveyard.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience working at Venuiti. The people are collaborative, smart, and genuinely supportive — it’s the kind of environment where teammates show up for each other and you’re encouraged to ask questions, learn fast, and grow. One of the biggest positives has been leadership accessibility and the culture of accountability. Expectations are high, but for the most part, you’re given the tools and support to meet them. I’ve also appreciated the sense of purpose in the work — projects feel meaningful, and there’s a clear focus on delivering value for healthcare organizations. Supportive team culture, approachable leadership, meaningful healthcare work, opportunity to grow

Cons

Fast-paced environment (which is a positive depending on your style)
