Pros

Fully remote employment and a lot of flexibility in the schedule of your day.

Cons

In order to avoid layoffs (as leadership brags they're the only tech company that doesn't do layoffs) they just fire individuals. In the past 18 months Veoci has only fired women. Pitiful severance package that is based on years of service - for a company that's only 10 years old that seems odd. They do not offer training it's very trial by fire and due to the remote work you are very siloed from others. Everyone is so busy they don't have time to assist you as you are onboarding so the learning curve is near impossible for someone transitioning from another field of work (which they seek out for subject matter experts). The training they do provide is what they give customers - so you'll learn how a customer uses the software but not how an engineer is meant to build the software. Employees themselves are wonderful people but everyone is on edge about being let go most of the time. The company offers zero stock or profit sharing and underpays their employees for the industry standard and how much work will be required (due to being a small start up).

Pros

They have a big team of highly capable employees that are willing to help. The health insurance is good and travel is very possible.

Cons

Maybe some meetings could just be an email instead of a meeting. The FAQ / internal written resources could use some improvement.
