Pros

Everyone I met at Veolia was very welcoming and would answer any questions I had when joining the company. The recruitment team are fantastic people and made all the grads feel excited about helping the environment and united in working for a large organisation.

Cons

The graduate scheme I joined required 3 x 8 month rotations in different part of the UK. I found moving away from home to be expensive and isolating as when I started my role I was the only graduate at work and all my colleagues were much older than myself, meaning I did not make any friends. I also did not have much purpose day to day as I am a 'graduate engineer' my duties were not very clear and I received very little technical training.

Hi, thank you for your review. We're disappointed to hear about your experience working at Veolia. It's great that you had a supportive team around you and were welcomed well through your interactions during application and onboarding with the recruitment team. We appreciate your honest comments and I will ensure these are shared with the relevant teams to action as this does not represent the experience we want colleagues to have. We wish you all the best in your future employment. Kind regards, Veolia Talent Acquisition Team.

Great schedule. Good pay. Great benefits.

Cons

In the middle of a merger. A lot of changes recently. Not necessarily bad.

Work life balance is ok
