Veranda Magazine, since it was purchased by the Hearst Corporation, has laid off a high number of editorial and publishing staff. It closed its Atlanta office, hired new people, and then laid them off.

Great company to have on your resume and you learn a lot fast.

Lots of work, 12-15 hour days, and wearing multiple hats for minimum wage!
