Pros

As a Senior Real-World Data Analyst at Verantos I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. The remote work setup has offered me the flexibility I need to maintain an excellent work-life balance. One of the standout features of working at Verantos is the amazing team. My coworkers are not only incredibly talented but also maintain a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Everyone is dedicated to delivering high-quality products, and this shared commitment makes for a motivating work environment. It’s refreshing to be surrounded by people who are not just colleagues but also supportive peers who uplift each other. In terms of compensation, I find the salary to be competitive and fair, reflecting the value of the work we do. Verantos truly understands the importance of rewarding hard work, which contributes to a sense of appreciation among the team. Overall, I highly recommend Verantos to anyone looking for a role that combines meaningful work with a positive workplace culture and great benefits. It’s a place where I feel valued and inspired to contribute my best every day!

Cons

At a startup, smaller teams often mean fewer resources available for projects, which can impact support and overall project execution.

Pros

Super interesting work combining AI, medicine, informatics, and epidemiology Very well organized so your priorities aren't changing every 15 minutes Not your typical "grind up your employees to make the founders rich" startup Actually family-friendly Fully remote with no risk of being "asked" to return to office Growing faster than venture-backed customers despite not having taken venture capital

Cons

The subject matter is very challenging. Your brain does get tired As a bootstrapped company, there's no cushion of VC money to fall back upon
