Pros

They have a good business model with T-Mobile which allows them to provide the same products and services. Regularly opening new stores.

Cons

They often preach core values and missions statements but their actions fall short. This company does not value their frontline teams and regularly manage them with fear tactics which have resulted in a high turn over in all positions... this is just the beginning. Pay has significantly dropped and other players in the market now have much more attractive compensation plans and benefits. The HR department is a puppet and string show which does not have ability to make any decisions even if they are the right ones. This has been proven multiple times as a result they are now on the 3rd HR director. I highly recommend you stay away from Verge Mobile unless you are looking to be over worked, under appreciated and under paid.

Benefits such as insurance is a positive, customers at times as well

Management little to no existence for assistance, pay and commission is abysmal-almost comedic, long-continuous stretches in shifts with minimal accommodation such as one day off after six to eight work days in a row usually involving doubles, inconsistent scheduling, no involvement with leadership during customer interactions or for personal goal(s)- as it is made crystal clear only leaderships pay matters, as well as customers being adjusted to bend over and kiss attitudes. Management allows customers to not walk-but run in circles over reps, even if they’re clearly incorrect or the customer is actively attempting to scam and or steal. As a rep previously, witnessing violations against employees such as inappropriate conduct against employees in-front of customers upon other problematic practices, the so called ‘management’ will simultaneously lie to your face and engage in work place gossip- or in some cases retaliation behind closed doors. You will not grow here, you will stay at the lowest possible rank until you are pushed out of the company.
