Pros
After training you to do what you were hired for, most jobs will simply let you repeat your duties until you depart, which may be years later. This leads to a mundane day-in, day-out that leaves you feeling as if the spark you left school with is getting ever dimmer. At Verificient, I felt like I was constantly becoming allowed to tackle all-new sorts of tasks. Before long, I was available for roles having nothing to do with my original. My days were less and less predictable and my assignments never wandered outside my expanding comfort zone. Wisdom comes from an observation of not a few but a variety of life's facets, and the people at Verificient showed me as many as they could.
Cons
Verificient is based in New York, an easy commute for me, but there were some employees for whom I would have loved a closer residence. The people in question were outstanding and I would have loved to meet them! This was soothed by the tight online community-- complete with daily face-to-face meetings, we had!
