Pros

Close to metro station with multiple services around

Cons

The company is split among multiple business units, this review is for Montreal: I was working for a couple of years in this company, -There is a huge favoritism among the leadership team which undermines your ability to work or grow. (Example: Excluded from conversations you should be part of, not gaining access to sources of information when you should have access to) -No source of truth: The info is given through specific people rather than a trusted universally accessible database, which does not allow you to do your job properly -No vision or direction beyond 1 week -Blamed for not being prepared enough (see points above) - VPs are less informed than freshly onboarded employees which makes you lose trust in the direction we are taking (if there is any)

Cons

Where do I begin. In my experience, very little of the work you do is recognized as your own, and the environment can feel extremely discouraging for employees who are simply trying to do their jobs well. There was a consistent culture of bullying, harassment, and favoritism that management failed to address, despite it being widely visible within the organization. HR did little to improve what had become a very toxic workplace culture, particularly within the sales organization. Employees who were willing to work hard often found themselves taking on the responsibilities of multiple people because others were unwilling to contribute equally. It also felt like advancement and positive treatment were heavily dependent on fitting into the “good old boy” culture rather than performance or professionalism. Unfortunately, I witnessed several employees leave the company without another opportunity lined up simply because the environment had become unbearable — myself included. If you are looking for a supportive, collaborative workplace where employees are respected and empowered to succeed, this was not my experience at Veriforce.
