Pros

If you're a "yes" person who doesn't have the skills , experience or ability to do the job you've been "promoted" to do ... you'll do great!

Cons

Everything is a PR stunt on Social media, lip service and fakery is an art at Alcumus! This company does not care about its staff or customers. "Fast-pace" is code for lack of strategy, leadership and clear and concise communication and throwing toys out of the pram when an ill thought out concept doesn't work. Good people are leaving ... With circa of 600 employees 1/3 of the workforce have left in the last year alone ... if that doesn't say everything about this toxic company, I don't know what will! All positive Glassdoors feedback is by current employees who are "strongly encouraged" as part of their onboarding process to leave good reviews to up Alcumus scores as they can't replace staff quickly enough ...

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and its always disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't necessarily left on a positive note, particularly when you had been with Alcumus for a number of years and good tenure. Our glassdoor reviews are at the discretion of our employees and former employees and it is important we take the time to understand both the positive and constructive points made as we will do so here. The business is growing and evolving and we continue to implement a number of programmes this year to develop our teams at all levels. I would be happy to discuss this feedback with you in more detail and take any points on board if you would like to do so, please reach out at nathan.hopkins@alcumus.com

Pros

Working remotely and benefits, PTO

Cons

Where do I begin. In my experience, very little of the work you do is recognized as your own, and the environment can feel extremely discouraging for employees who are simply trying to do their jobs well. There was a consistent culture of bullying, harassment, and favoritism that management failed to address, despite it being widely visible within the organization. HR did little to improve what had become a very toxic workplace culture, particularly within the sales organization. Employees who were willing to work hard often found themselves taking on the responsibilities of multiple people because others were unwilling to contribute equally. It also felt like advancement and positive treatment were heavily dependent on fitting into the “good old boy” culture rather than performance or professionalism. Unfortunately, I witnessed several employees leave the company without another opportunity lined up simply because the environment had become unbearable — myself included. If you are looking for a supportive, collaborative workplace where employees are respected and empowered to succeed, this was not my experience at Veriforce.
