Pros

The work is unique and fascinating. The culture is great. The company is part of Publicis Groupe which opens up a whole network of opportunities and benefits (plus nine flex holidays).

Cons

The executive management is too biased and very chauvinistic. Over the years I have noticed more men receive promotions as well as "golf buddies." They recently had a layoff and removed personnel within roles that were more critical (whereas there are people within non-essential, made-up roles and others with larger, unnecessary salaries). Furthermore, the exec team approved sending people overseas for a not very successful six month trip, then proceeded to promote the same unsuccessful employees, and then followed by layoffs of other personnel who have active revenue baring workloads—something is not right.

Pros

Incredibly interesting work. Great experience turning academic linguistics into commercially viable content. Supportive Exec team that is very transparent and pushes career growth. Great culture - remote is a huge benefit but also can be hard to connect

Cons

Work product at times limited by project deadline constraints. Love to unlock the database though commercial viability to do so is something we haven’t figured out yet. Remote is a limiting factor in terms of developing deep relationships. Workload can get challenging

Pros

Interesting, supportive and compassionate leadership

Cons

Publicis Health leaders don’t understand what Verilogue is (and isn’t). In its desperate pursuit of a big data play that is losing ground to AI every day, they continue to undermine Verilogue and decimate its workforce.
