Great people, not-so-great benefits - Technical Solutions Engineer Verily Employee Review

Thank you for leaving your review. We're glad to see that you would recommend Verily to others, and that you see a strong business outlook for Verily ahead. It's also great to see that you like and appreciate your coworkers, which is a common theme we hear here on Glassdoor as well as in company surveys. From a benefits perspective, we have just completed our first standalone Benefits Open Enrollment (apart and different from Google's benefits that we have had for the past several years). As you have seen through the roadshows and Benefits presentations, we are happy to be offering a health plan that is very similar to the previous plan; with respect to some point solutions including fertility we are supporting family planning efforts and IVF through our HMO plan in CA, support for surrogacy and adoption. We also provide time away for prepartum, baby bonding, carer's leave and short-term disability.
