Pros

Specifically, I joined the company’s marketing department. I’m proud of the work we do, and it’s recognized and appreciated by the leadership team and the CMO. I’ve grown my career in those four years and taken on a broader role. To do well, you need to be a doer, not just a strategist or planner. That works for me, because it means I get to learn about new areas of the business and have opportunities to stretch my skills. I always say that Verisk is the nicest company that I've ever worked for, and that means there's receptiveness to listening to new ideas. I’ve also been impressed by the CMO’s focus on developing junior members of the team and pushing her leadership team to create opportunities for them. You should seriously consider joining this mighty mid cap.

Cons

Compensation is a perennial concern at most companies and Verisk is no different.

Pros

I have been a product manager at several companies, and it is genuinely one of the best environments I have worked in. Verisk provides a unique opportunity to work closely with customers, engineering, design, and leadership to solve meaningful problems and deliver products that create business value. Product managers are trusted to help shape strategy and influence key decisions. Teams collaborate effectively, and there is a shared commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for customers. Leadership is approachable and receptive to new ideas, creating an environment where innovation is encouraged.

Cons

Navigating insurance regulatory requirements and customer compliance can occasionally slow feature development and release timelines.
