Pros
Flexible work timings No parking clutter
Cons
If you like to see yourself in the midst of unwanted/uncalled ambiguities, ever changing landscape, frequent restructuring, biased audience, depleting ecosystem etc; then this is the place for you. I don’t remember knowing a place that could be more unprofessional, incompetent and unpleasant than Veritas and I say this because of the bitter and wilder experiences that came my way. All efforts made to ensure that no stone is left unturned in hiring the best inexperienced, unqualified and hardnosed talent in the organization and that too in leadership roles which would sooner or later make one feel miserable/vulnerable. This leads to “mediocrity”. . This place is literally bleeding and losing the good talent they ever had every second due to these nasty encounters and directionless approach being adopted. Everyone is busy fixing the problems on hand which are short timed than looking at long term solutions. There are high chances of getting singled out over a period if you don’t agree to sail in the same boat with others due to their insecure nature and fear of getting overridden. You better follow the marks of these people or they will take life out of you. Their world class measurement model tilts towards how good you are in making/maintaining equations, managing perceptions, one directional data exchange, being a messenger, massaging egos, taking orders etc. else you are an underrated non-performer There is no room for coaching, guidance or individual development and yet miracles are expected else there is replacement for everything. If you like to get nudged, grinded and criticized, Welcome to the circus!. This is not in entirety but based on the confrontations I personally had over the period. I believe this would be common to many of us and is mostly restricted to India location. I’m sure it’s would be a better place outside of India but my experience is limited to India only.
