Pros

Attempts to be and adequate employer and create an adequate work environment. If you can find reason to contiue to work here, thats good. However, if you feel that its not working out, dont feel bad for moving on.

Cons

It can be a lot of hard work and you probably will only be minimally compensated for the hard effort you put in. In the 4 + years of working there they have had a high turnover rate. Also, any improvments that they might do always felt like they were still cutting costs somehow. I feel like my living circumstances were very lucky in general, allowing me to live comfortably with the benefits that were provided. However, even with yearly pay increases my take home pay never changed too much do to my personal living expenses increasing yearly as well. (Things like health insurance, car loan, and contributing to retirement).

Pros

You literally are saving lives with blood donations.

Cons

The current leadership dictates how all the workflow is managed to a point of over-micromanagement and obsessive levels of narcissism from the leadership of the marketing department. Come prepared to have years of experience and be shifted under management who does not know how your role operates. Though Versiti serves five states, the focus will always be on Wisconsin, where the headquarters is, not on individual state needs. Leadership relies heavily on AI generated marketing materials and work products and goes against strategic marketing methods to support their home state, Wisconsin. While working here you can experience massive micro management as well as zero comprehension to your job role. If leadership does not like the way you are performing to their unrealistic challenges, they will eliminate your position and let you go, regardless of the time served and work produced at the company. If applying in an social media management role with this company, please be prepared to fill several roles in one. Content creation, yearly strategy, monthly reporting, community management for more than 30 active social media accounts, travel to WI and other states for content, video production, trend analysis, and anything they want to add to your plate. Diversity and inclusion has been all but eliminated by the company, which is made even more concerning because they deal with historically marginalized communities.
